Why We Love Working With Kids!
What Volunteers Say
“I just love working with the kids and it's just awesome. Just love it. I just want to make this the best hour of their week.”
- Steve McLain
“I like working in kids ministry because the kids are fun and you see their smiling faces every week. Over time, I've seen kids that I taught in preschool now join youth group. And so realizing how old I am, that I'm very old.
- Sophia Brown
I like working with the kids because they're our future. They are our next generation and they're sponges and we can mold and shape them. So, I love it. I've been working uh with toddlers for about 3-4 months now. I wanted to be a part of a church. I wanted to be part of the family and these are my kids, too. So, I wanted to be a part of that.”
- Leian Wilds
“I like working with kids because they're our future. They're fun to be with, too. But I just want to bring them up with the with the word of God. I think it's also important for the men to get involved in this, especially with the young boys, that they see a role model that they realize that learning about God is is what a man should do.”
- Scott Tikalsky
“Love working with the kids because you get to see them grow in their relationship with Christ. Coming in, working with fourth and fifth graders, seeing them come in in fourth grade and then leaving after the end of fifth grade, you see so much spiritual growth. Get to pour into the lives of kids and be there with them in hard times and in good times. and they keep me young and they make it just so fun and enjoyable to be around them. I love the large group teaching because you get to pour into the kids. You get to teach them stories and see their eyes come alive as they hear God's word. It's just total joy.”
