At Valley, our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience a safe and fun environment where they can encounter Christ.  We hope to reach the children who come through our doors by showing them faith, hope and love, teach them about God and salvation through Jesus Christ, and equip them to discover their gifts and empower them to serve. We would love to see you and your family visit VC Kids. We offer children's ministry for ages 0-5 years old at the 8:00am service, and ministry for 0-5th graders at the 9:30am and 11:15am service! The kids of VC Family get the opportunity to worship, learn about the Bible from one of our amazing teachers, and have fun with friends.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Here's what to expect when visiting Valley Kids for the first time:
 
As you walk into our building, someone will be here to meet your family and check your child into our system. After registering and checking-in your children, we will help you and your child find their age-appropriate classroom, and introduce you to our amazing Sunday School teacher. They will learn about how Jesus loves them, wants to be their friend, and has a purpose for their life.
 
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
 
  • Parent/guardian name(s)
  • Child's name
  • Child's birthdate
  • Email & physical address
  • Phone number
  • Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children

HOW CHECK-IN WORKS

BEFORE SERVICE: You can check-in your child at any of the Check-in Kiosks using your phone number or with a coordinator at the Check-in desk. After finding your child’s name in the database, and checking in, your child’s name tag will print along with your matching parent tag. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you hold onto the matching tag.
 
AFTER SERVICE: After the service is complete, you will return to your child’s classroom. You will need to show your matching parent tag. The teacher will confirm the number on your child’s name tag and then release them to you. This is to keep your child safe!
 
DURING SERVICE: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code (the number on the parent tag) will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child’s room. We may also send a text message during service if we need to contact you.

If you are looking for a way to serve, no need to look further. We have tons of areas that everyone, from all walks of life, can serve.
If you have any questions about any of these fields please let us know.
Fill out the Valley Kids application, includes a few questions about you, your experience with children, and why you would like to serve. Followed by a background check and training. Training includes tools for working with children and helps to ensure children are getting a consistent classroom experience.
  • SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER - help children grow and learn more about Jesus, by teaching them bible lessons, playing games, doing crafts, and having fun with them on Sunday Mornings.
  • NURSERY VOLUNTEER - our sweet babies are the best! Love, cuddle, and play with kids infant-2 years while their parents get to attend service.
  • CHILDREN'S WORSHIP LEADER - Valley Kids love to worship! Dancing, signing, and using hand motions to praise Jesus! Join our children's worship team and learn the songs & motion to help lead kids in worshipping God!
  • VALLEY KIDS EVENTS - Help with Valley Kids events, like VBS, movie nights, etc.
